One of Florida’s top poker destinations is extending its reach on August 29 when bestbet opens its third location in St. Augustine.
The new cardroom will feature 49 gaming tables, along with a sushi bar, simulcast wagering, and tableside service. Poker games of all limits are on offer, along with One Card Poker, Three Card Poker, Fortune Pai Gow, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and more. Also planned is a stand-of-the-art sports bar, with over 70 flat screen TVs broadcasting sporting events throughout the facility.
The 40,673-square-foot venue broke ground in July 2021, and the St. Augustine location adds the third cardroom to bestbet’s growing footprint in North Florida.
“We are very excited to return to St. Johns County with the newest addition to the bestbet portfolio,” said Jamie Shelton, bestbet President.
This is bestbet’s return to the county after previously opening the first cardroom in Northeast Florida on Race Track Road in 2004.
“Our team has done an outstanding job in bringing this project to completion and we couldn’t be more proud. We would like to Thank St. Johns County for its support and for working with us to bring this project home.”
bestbet recently hosted its popular Summer Heater Poker Series, with 750 players turning out for the $1,500 Main Event. The Jacksonville location also features regular livestreamed cash games on bestbetLIVE.
In addition to nearly 50 tables at the new St. Augustine facility, the flagship location in Jacksonville has over 80 tables of all limits, and the cardroom in Orange Park features over 30 gaming tables. All three locations are open 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Friday.
