The Wynn Summer Series, running from May 21 through July 14, is now in full swing. This week brought another wave of big winners, massive fields, and milestone moments at Wynn Las Vegas.
Among the highlights were the largest women-only poker buy-in event in history, a huge payday in the $1,500,000 GTD $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em, a massive Seniors event featuring a six-figure top prize, and much more.
Dusti Smith Wins Largest Women’s-Only Poker Event in History
On Friday, June 6, a historic event took place at Wynn—the largest women-only tournament in poker history.
The $3,000 Ladies High Roller drew 76 entries, generating a prize pool of $206,720. Fourteen players returned for Day 2 on Saturday, June 7, to compete for the top prize of $61,335.
The title went to Dusti Smith, who entered the final day as chip leader and continued her strong run by defeating Xinyi Hong heads-up for the win. Smith, wasted no time hopping into this event, after recently finishing runner up in Event #17: $2,000 No-Limit Holdem at the World Series of Poker.
Other notable players advancing to Day 2 included Victoria Livschitz, Maria Lampropulos, Sinead Davenport, and Xuan Liu—who recently made history as the first woman to win a Triton Poker Series title in Montenegro.

The largest payout of the Wynn Summer Classic so far was awarded to David Stefanski, who took down the $1,500,000 GTD $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em event for $376,595. The tournament attracted 2,466 entries across three Day 1 flights, generating a $2,379,690 prize pool, the largest of the series to date as well.

The $1,600 Seniors event featured three starting flights and a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. It drew a whopping 961 entries, generating a total prize pool of $1,374,230. A total of 144 players returned for Day 2 on June 2, with the top 116 finishing in the money and earning a minimum cash of $3,411.
The final table began on June 3, and it was Terry Fleischer who emerged as the event’s big winner, taking home $188,520 and claiming the title following a four-way ICM chop with Skipper Pearson, Adam Wilkinson, and Tongguang Sun.

Also claiming victory this week at the Wynn, Ted Spivack took home $50,067 after topping a field of 251 players in the $1,100 Big O event. Meanwhile, Jose Severino, Panama’s all-time money list leader, captured the title in the $1,100 5-Card PLO, earning $35,449—just $1 more than Gabriel Ramos after the two agreed to a heads-up deal. Also securing his first live tournament win in 555 days, Vladas Tamasauskas topped a field of 231 players in the $1,100 PLO Turbo for $51,145.
